Capturing Natural Beauty: Vidhi's Senior Session

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Vidhi, a senior at Grove City High School, and let me tell you, this session was a dream! When we first connected, she mentioned wanting a natural but rustic setting for her photos. I shared some of my favorite past sessions from a beautiful location, and once she saw them, she immediately knew it was the perfect fit. This girl knew exactly what she wanted and had a confident, outgoing and vibrant energy!

One of the things I adored about Vidhi’s approach was her choice of outfits. She kept them simple and stylish, allowing the focus to really be on her natural beauty and spirit. Working with her was a breeze—she was so laid back and took direction like a pro, making the whole experience feel effortless. It’s always a joy to work with seniors who are both relaxed and excited about their session, and Vidhi fit that bill perfectly! She also had this beautiful Indian dress that she wanted to include. She bought it awhile back but didn't have an occasion. Well, here is the occasion! I knew the boardwalk would be the perfect location for this outfit and it certainly didn't disappoint. I loved capturing something so personal to her culture and her family at her senior session!

Her mom had also expressed interest in family photos as well which is something I'm starting to get more and more of. Setting aside a few minutes at the end of the session is the perfect time to get some family portraits as well. After Vidhi's session, we did just that. The family came out, dressed to perfection in coordinated outfits, and we squeezed in a short but sweet family session. It was such a lovely way to end the day, capturing those special moments together during such a big time in Vidhi's life.

I am genuinely excited to see where Vidhi’s journey takes her post-graduation. If her spirit in front of the camera is any indication of what’s to come, she’s bound to do incredible things. Thanks for an amazing day, Vidhi—you were simply a joy to photograph!
