What is included in a senior portrait session with Claudine Kosier Photography?

Every session includes a pre-session planning consultation, fully guided posing and styling throughout the shoot, and an in-person image reveal appointment at our Dublin, Ohio studio approximately one week after your session. At the reveal you'll choose your favorites and select products including wall art, albums, prints, and digital files.

Do you offer wall art and albums?

Yes. Most clients choose a combination of wall art, albums, and loose prints. Every purchased image also includes the matching digital file so you get heirloom pieces for your home and shareable digital images. We offer a full product line at your in-person ordering session.

Where are senior portrait sessions located?

Sessions take place on location throughout Columbus and Central Ohio including Dublin, Powell, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Westerville, and Worthington. Claudine scouts and selects locations that match your senior's personality and style.

When should I book my senior portraits?

Summer is the most popular time and books early. Most seniors get on the calendar as early as January for summer sessions. Limited spots are available for fall. Contact us to check current availability.

Do you photograph senior guys as well as senior girls?

Absolutely. Claudine Kosier Photography specializes in senior portraits for both guys and girls. Senior guys sessions are relaxed, bold, and editorial — no stiff posing, just real personality captured with style.

Outdoor Senior Session in Historic Downtown Dublin (Audrey)

Meet Audrey! Class of 2022 Senior- :) This girl literally photographed on the hottest day I think I've ever spent outside. Goodness, you'd never know it! She handled that heat like a boss- :) I have worked with Audrey on a few shoots now and we always have a blast together. This day was a crazy brutal heat day and even thought we photographed very late day, early evening, it was still pretty toasty. She still enjoyed her day anyway. We took lots of breaks and photographed each outfit for only a few minutes so she wasn't getting uncomfortable. She always keeps such a great attitude and is always so easy to work with. I loved her looks, with her super cute hat and over the top orange pants were adorable! I think that may be my favorite outfit and the location I chose for this could not have been more perfect. It really gave it that boho / rustic feel she was going for. This is what she had to say about her session!

Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
I loved getting my hair and makeup done! It really made things a lot less stressful for me and my mom. Tatum did my makeup so it accentuated all my natural features, rather than just hiding the blemishes and slapping random eye shadow on my face, and it made me a lot more confident going in to see that I could look that pretty, without a bunch of makeup on my face. After I left the makeup and hair location, I couldn’t even tell I had any makeup on!

What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
I was really scared going on that I wasn’t going to LOVE my pictures because I’m someone who has grown up very self conscious, and before I had my senior pictures done, I lost a good amount of weight. Now, I feel much differently after working with Claudine. She’s fun, spunky, and even in 96 degree weather she was so much fun and made me feel truly beautiful by my last outfit change.

What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
I’m not someone who has a particular look or style, so I tried to do 4 different ones. A creative look, with a green polka dot set A boss lady look, with a maroon pantsuit A cute basic look, with a red dress and the cutest heels A full out hippie look, white lace off the shoulder top, with my favorite orange bell bottom pants, and a HAT

How was your overall Senior Portrait Experience?
11/10 experience! I would totally do this all over again if I could. Whenever my senior friends ask me about senior pictures or portraits I always brag about how great my experiment was with Claudine!

What was the best part or most memorable about your session?
The best part about my session was honestly just the process of taking the pictures. Picking out a cute place to take a photo, then finding the right pose, feel amazing, take the photo, off to the next! It didn’t feel like a complete stranger was just taking my picture, Claudine went out of her way to make conversation and make sure I was comfortable the whole time! I think the most memorable part of my session was the heat! But Claudine even had ice packs, essential oils, pretty much anything someone over heating would need!

Do you have any tips or advice for other seniors for their Senior Portrait Session?
Have fun and don’t spend the majority of your time worrying about how you look, Claudine will never let you look bad!

What, if any, activities / sports are you involved with at school?
I’m in symphonic choir, shades of blue acapella, theatre, I’m actually the president of my theatre troupe, a member of hope squad, assistant directed and choreographed the middle school musical for my capstone project with some friends, I write my own music , and I coach a cheer squad with my mom every year for the NWFL Optimist league!
