What is included in a senior portrait session with Claudine Kosier Photography?

Every session includes a pre-session planning consultation, fully guided posing and styling throughout the shoot, and an in-person image reveal appointment at our Dublin, Ohio studio approximately one week after your session. At the reveal you'll choose your favorites and select products including wall art, albums, prints, and digital files.

Do you offer wall art and albums?

Yes. Most clients choose a combination of wall art, albums, and loose prints. Every purchased image also includes the matching digital file so you get heirloom pieces for your home and shareable digital images. We offer a full product line at your in-person ordering session.

Where are senior portrait sessions located?

Sessions take place on location throughout Columbus and Central Ohio including Dublin, Powell, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Westerville, and Worthington. Claudine scouts and selects locations that match your senior's personality and style.

When should I book my senior portraits?

Summer is the most popular time and books early. Most seniors get on the calendar as early as January for summer sessions. Limited spots are available for fall. Contact us to check current availability.

Do you photograph senior guys as well as senior girls?

Absolutely. Claudine Kosier Photography specializes in senior portraits for both guys and girls. Senior guys sessions are relaxed, bold, and editorial — no stiff posing, just real personality captured with style.

Gorgeous Garden Senior Session with Sam at Inniswood Gardens

Working with this amazing high school senior for her portrait sesh was an absolute dream. This insanely gorgeous flowery spot was practically made for her and has been such a hot spot this year.

When she showed me her outfits, omg I was so excited! I knew they would photograph just so pretty in the various spots thru the park. She planned them so well and had the perfect mix of colors and styles. So much variety!

We were so silly together with lots of giggles and insane poses. But like my other seniors, once her confidence soared, she relaxed and became a natural. Those initial nerves turned to a sense of empowerment and it's always my hope that my seniors see themselves a little differently when their session is over.

We totally captured her unique energy and beautiful images of her that I know she will love for a lifetime. Congrats to you in your Senior Year Sam. I loved working with you and your mom. Thanks for all the laughs and for choosing me to capture this time. It's so much more than just "pics..." xoxo

Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
My session day was amazing! At first I was very worried because I felt like I was going to be awkward and my pictures wouldn’t turn out good. But that day was so beautiful and the weather played in our favor. After my first few pictures I felt more confident in myself and I had a very fun time. It wasn’t just taking pictures, it was a fun experience full of smiles, laughs, little stories, and a good connection between me and my photographer. I’d say my favorite part was just the laughs and fun time we had taking my pictures.
What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
My biggest fear was definitely my confidence. I have a hard time getting confident in my looks and my smile and I feel awkward all the darn time. I felt much better after my shoot. Once I was given that confidence I needed I felt amazing after the first few shots. I think my pictures turned out very nice and I’m so happy with how the session went.
Did you feel comfortable and confident during your session? What do you think attributed to that the most?
I was definitely nervous at first. I think as more and more pictures were taken, my confidence level rose as we progressed. By the second half of the session, I was quite confident that I didn’t look silly ahaha. I think what helped with this is my photographer giving me those little words of encouragement throughout my shoot, making me smile each and every time.
What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
Something soft and simple. I know a lot of teenage girls love to glam things up around senior pictures, but I’ve always liked things nice and simple. A few flowers, a little bit of sun, clothing not too extreme. I think simple can look very beautiful, and in this case, my theory was correct.
What made you choose CKP for your Senior Session?
I’ve heard good things about CKP and I’ve researched many pictures taken. I actually know quite a few people who’ve had their pictures taken by CKP and they look stunning in their photos. Claudine is very sweet and meeting her for the first time on Zoom was such a pleasure. She’s someone who I actually connected with, and she gets to know you. She treats you like a friend and I found that so amazing.

I’d say I’m a very loyal and reliable person. I always put others before myself and would do anything to protect those I care about.
What is the best advice you've ever received?
Never aim to be perfect and accept your mistakes. Perfection is boring :)
Would your parent like to add any comments about your session day?
My parents loved the pictures and can’t wait to book my younger sister with CKP!
