What is included in a senior portrait session with Claudine Kosier Photography?

Every session includes a pre-session planning consultation, fully guided posing and styling throughout the shoot, and an in-person image reveal appointment at our Dublin, Ohio studio approximately one week after your session. At the reveal you'll choose your favorites and select products including wall art, albums, prints, and digital files.

Do you offer wall art and albums?

Yes. Most clients choose a combination of wall art, albums, and loose prints. Every purchased image also includes the matching digital file so you get heirloom pieces for your home and shareable digital images. We offer a full product line at your in-person ordering session.

Where are senior portrait sessions located?

Sessions take place on location throughout Columbus and Central Ohio including Dublin, Powell, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Westerville, and Worthington. Claudine scouts and selects locations that match your senior's personality and style.

When should I book my senior portraits?

Summer is the most popular time and books early. Most seniors get on the calendar as early as January for summer sessions. Limited spots are available for fall. Contact us to check current availability.

Do you photograph senior guys as well as senior girls?

Absolutely. Claudine Kosier Photography specializes in senior portraits for both guys and girls. Senior guys sessions are relaxed, bold, and editorial — no stiff posing, just real personality captured with style.

Natural Rustic Senior Session in Dublin Ohio with Ava

Ok, I adore this girl already. This is our 2nd time shooting together and she's a ton of fun. She's one of those girls that is just so easy to be around and comfortable. She's engaged and talkative and always up for whatever I ask her to do. (Well most of the time - lol). Although I spend alot of time in the metro parks on shoots, I'm still not a fan of anthing moving, buzzing or slithering. Apparently Ava is my soul sister and feels the same. She's not a fan of heat either. ha!

She loved getting her makeup done and working with Tatum. I mean, who wouldn't? But that's the whole idea. This is your special day and she loved starting it out with some serious pampering!

The first portion of her shoot she really wanted to incorporate water. I took her to one of my favorite spots. A little off the path and easy to get too, but not so easy to manever once your there. (AKA slimy rocks ect)....She was a trooper and took direction so well. These are some of my fav photos and her outfit choice was perfect.

From there, she wanted rustic and natural. We headed to one of my favorite spots and did some beautiful images in the rustic grasses and boardwalk. She chose the perfect outfits for her location and I know all the planning that went into this session made her feel comfortable with her choices.

We had an absolute blast capturing her unique spirit and style. From nailing those picture-perfect moments to sharing some genuine laughs, it was an unforgettable experience that truly showcased her high school journey.

This girl's energy and positivity are so next level, and we made sure her photos radiate that same incredible zest for life. Can't wait for you all to check out her final favorite images. I'm thrilled she will have these in a beautiful album keepsake that she can enjoy for a lifetime and pass down to her own family one day. xo

Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
The best part of the day was all of the behind scenes work that went into the day. Between the laughs, insects, and rocks there are so many memories I’ll remember forever! It was such a fun day, even in the heat!
What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
My biggest fear was that I would look awkward in my photos and not be happy with the way I looked. I feel SO different now that my session is done! I could not be more excited about my picture results, and I feel silly now for all of the stress and overthinking I put into my fear!
Did you feel comfortable and confident during your session? What do you think attributed to that the most?
I felt so comfortable and confident. Claudine created such a safe space for me and was very supportive the whole time. She communicated to me what she wanted very well and was always so hands on. If there was a pose i didn’t want to do, she wouldn’t even question why and would move and and be respectful of my boundaries.
What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
I was going for a very timeless and classy look in my pictures with a very natural environment around me.
What made you choose CKP for your Senior Session?
Seeing her previous work is what drew me in at first, but after getting to speak with her and meet with her about pictures I was completely hooked! She is completely dedicated to what she does, and you can feel that through her results and effort!

I know who I am, and stick with who I am. I keep my beliefs and values at the forefront of everything I do. I always stay true to who I am!
What is the best advice you've ever received?
My Grandmother always told me, Loving someone is never a waste. Love never runs out.
Would your parent like to add any comments about your session day?
Claudine and Tatum both made the day go seamlessly from the time we arrived for hair and makeup to the end of the photo shoot. It was a very special day for me to spend with my daughter!
