What a fun and unique session this was! My first session working on a golf course and I won't lie, I'm kind of obsessed! Maria, her mom and I worked hard to customize really gorgeous spots that complimented her styles so much. I love her very classic blue dress with the neck scarf. Neck scarves are so pretty and I wish more were daring to wear them. They really take everything up a notch and in my opinion is a very timeless style.

Her white on white outfit was perfect with all the florals we were able to capture and I know her mom was nervous about white on white. Some of these ended up being their favorite images and everything really popped.

The green romper with the hat was absolute perfection for the tall grasses, flowers and gorgeous stones we found in Ballantrae. Sooo pretty and the hat was another classic selection for Maria!

The golf portion of this shoot was such a blast. Jokingly I had suggested to bring out a male model prop and to my surprise, they went for it! These are some of my favorite images. They are so editorial which fits my style perfectly and my male model Max is always up for a shoot, regardless of theme!

Our day was super warm, but we got thru it and Maria got some incredible images out of this session. Enjoy some of their favorites from this fun shoot!

• Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
  Loved the entire day but by far my favorite part of the shoot was the end at the golf course! It was fun getting to pose on the green and taking the silly pictures with Max in the background was fun too. Loved posing for the Vogue shot as well!
• What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
  My biggest fear before the session was not knowing how to pose while also looking relaxed. Seeing the photos after the shoot made me realize to focus on having fun with the poses because this makes them look natural.
• What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
  My goal was to achieve a classic, yet some what dressy look. I used my all white outfit as a stand out piece, the navy blue dress was the most classic look, the romper/hat was cute carefree and the golf outfit was capture my passion for the game.
• How was your overall Senior Portrait Experience?
  The overall experience was so fun and I wish I could do it over! Can’t wait for my younger sister to have hers because I would love to tag along and be a part of it again!
• What was the best part or most memorable about your session?
  The most memorable part of my senior session was the end of the day and how we had a beautiful sunset in the night sky for the last part of my shoot.
• Do you have any tips or advice for other seniors for their Senior Portrait Session?
  Just have fun, don’t worry about posing because you have so many ideas to help us feel comfortable! Don’t be afraid to smile!
• Would your parent like to add any comments about your session day?
  Claudine offers an entire experience, incredibly organized, asked about what we were looking for, offered suggestions for how to dress, colors and pattern guidance as well as suggested locations . She , Encouraged Maria be herself and was open to adding unique ideas such as the golf course. It was fantastic experience I would recommend to others.
• What, if any, activities / sports are you involved with at school?
  At school I play Golf for the varsity team and hold the number 1 position for the team. At home I run almost everyday and participate in 5k’s around Columbus and I Irishdance and perform with Regan Rankin Holland Academy.
• Share with me 2 - 3 things you LOVE!
  I love my family and spending time with my younger sister Aimee. As we’ve gotten older we’ve only become closer. I loved the adventures we taken together, creating memories that will last a lifetime. I also love being creative and crafty. Each season I like to jump onto Pinterest find new recipes and DIY decorations. Crafting is always right up my ally! I also love traveling in The States and Internationally. I have been to most of the states in the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii. I have also been to the U.S. virgin islands, Barbados, (most islands in the Caribbean), Canada, Mexico, and Ireland.
