What a super fun day with Grace and her mom Jodi, and I haven't worked with a swimmer for awhile. Grace Jodi and I worked really close together to put together just the right outfits that would suit her well and photograph great! Her makeup look was so natural but with just enough pop for the camera. Grace liked the idea of more classic simple poses but on occasion, we did a few modeled up too which ended up being some favorites. Our pool shenanigans got interesting toward the end as we found out they had double booked the pool.... >> insert stunned mortified face here :O. In the end, let's just say we got very creative and were able to pull off just the look she was going for. She has a great variety of images from classic to sport and overall, a beautiful session. THANK YOU Jodi and Grace for being so incredibly easy to work with and for trusting me to capture images at such a special and transitional time of your life. Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
It was really fun, I think the highlight of my session was how much i was laughing with you and how fun it was and just the freedom of the session like if i wanted to change where we shot we could, i felt like it was designed just for me and loved it!

What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
That it was going to be boring and feel very long. I don’t usually like having pictures taken or taking them but now that it is done, I actually really enjoyed it and you made sure it was fun! Also that I felt comfortable and not bored.

What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
A natural but cute and simple look. Outfits with pops of color and very smiley!

How was your overall Senior Portrait Experience?
Very good! I would totally do it again :)

What was the best part or most memorable about your session?
the walking through weeds to just get pictures and how you made sure to make my swimming pictures work even though we had some issues with the pool

Do you have any tips or advice for other seniors for their Senior Portrait Session?
Just don’t be nervous and have fun! Just be yourself because in the end the pictures will turn out great and it will be a fun experience!

Would your parent like to add any comments about your session day?
She really liked the hair and makeup being done and the fact you had your own person for that. Also she loved the assistance in picking out our outfits so we knew what to look for so that it would look good behind the camera!
