I recently had a fantastic senior portrait session with the ever-so-awesome Sophie, Class of 2024 at Hilliard Davidson, and her adorable pup companions right here in Dublin, Ohio. She started her day with a gorgeous hair and makeup session with Makeup by Tatum. My seniors LOVE this part of their session. It takes all the pressure off them and gives them a beautiful natural look, features that pop and a polished look for their images. 

We then met out at our chosen location and let me tell you, the weather that day was playing tricks on us – starting off all yucky and misty and downright worrisome.

But you know what? Sophie handled it like a total champ! She never once panicked, and that's just one of the many reasons I absolutely loved working with her.  

As the day went on, the mist finally decided to give us a break, revealing some gorgeous natural light that made Sophie's senior portraits shine. Not to mention, her pups were absolute stars in front of the camera, bringing extra warmth and charm to her session. We captured some truly special moments that perfectly encapsulated Sophie's personality and the unique bond she shares with her four-legged friends. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do – capturing memories and turning them into beautiful, cherished portraits.

Kudos to Sophie for being a trooper and embracing the unpredictable Ohio weather with a smile! Thank you for such an amazing day girl!! xoxo

  The entire experience (but a highlight was dodging the weather!)

  I didn’t realize how much fun it would actually be!

  Yes! Claudine was fun and relaxing to work with and she let me do “unscripted” and spontaneous poses
