As a professional photographer, I am lucky to work with so many great clients and it's something new and different every day.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Beth. She came to me with a need for updated modern images and just like everyone that comes to me she does not typically like photos of herself.

I assured her I would work with her thru every step and detail of the session and I would give her plenty of pose direction during her shoot.

The first step in the process was a design consultation and wardrobe styling. We discussed her business, brand, and the type of image she wanted to project to her audience. We also discussed the clothing and accessories she would wear during the shoot to ensure that everything was on-brand and would make her feel comfortable and confident.

On the day of the shoot, she started with hair and makeup. My makeup artist Tatum is so crazy talented and gave her a beautiful look that is finished for portraits, makes her photos pop but is also a professional look for everyday. 

Throughout the session, I worked closely with the Beth to ensure the poses and looks were the right look for her brand. We took a variety of poses, expressions, and angles, to ensure that we had plenty of options to choose from.

When she saw them for the first time, she was thrilled with the final result, which perfectly captured her brand and personality.
