What a gorgeous session in German Village with Kendall! This area never disappoints and has a incredible variety of textures to work with.

But then, I saw her outfits and omgosh! That white dress tho-is that not so incredibly stunning? I knew it would photograph so dreamy and it surely did. We had a great day in the Village with great weather and had fun doing so many different poses (including some dance-yay!!)

PS...I saw some video of her dancing recently and my jaw hit the floor. I'm always amazed by my dancers and this was off the charts!

Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
Before the shoot, I got my hair and makeup done by Tatum. Then we went down to German Village for the shoot, and it was such a beautiful day. I was nervous, but you kept it very relaxed so I felt more and more comfortable throughout the shoot. The best part was honestly the whole experience because it was a fun time with my mom and Claudine. And of course, seeing a few random cats who wanted to join in!
What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
My biggest fear was probably the makeup session because I am a person who likes to do their own makeup in a specific way, and I did not want to have too much makeup on. However, I knew that photo-ready makeup was definitely different from my every day. I let the makeup artist know what I wanted, and after seeing the photos, I am very happy with how it came out.
Did you feel comfortable and confident during your session? What do you think attributed to that the most?
During the beginning, I was definitely nervous, but as the shoot went on, I felt less awkward and more and more confident. What helped was feeling more comfortable with the procedure after the first few takes, as well as Claudine’s continued guidance and support.
What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
I wanted to wear outfits that were outfits I would normally wear, but nothing too much. I liked mixtures of greenery and flowers with brick and stone, so German village was the perfect place for that look. I did not want to be too posed, so Claudine helped me with some more natural and classic poses.

I have been dancing for fourteen years, I dance on a competitive dance team, and I teach little kids at my dance studio!
Would your parent like to add any comments about your session day?
Mom: I liked how Claudine really tried to get to know you prior to the session and so that she could make the session more specific to you! I also felt Claudine did a great job of putting you at ease during the photo shoot and really guided you through the process!
What, if any, activities / sports are you involved with at school?
I do not do any sports through the school, but I am involved in 2D art, the Chinese language and culture club, and I am a peer tutor.
