I had such an amazing day with Jacob and his mom! Like EVERY. SINGLE. GUY, Jacob was not clawing my door down to get senior pictures.

But his mom wanted nice images and memories of him especially during such a pivotal time in his life. Senior year is a big deal and it's a turning point. The end of something amazing and the beginning of a brand new chapter!

After our planning session, it was fun to collaborate on ideas that he had or envisioned and put together with my suggestions, we ended up in Downtown Columbus and the Arena District.

This is such a cool area especially for the guys. Lots of textures, backgrounds and just overall, a ton to work with. Jacob did great on putting his outfits together and I think he has a great mix of a tailored look, a casual yet simple and clean look and of course, the downright male model look. (I know he's rolling his eyes right now lol)

But once we got to the arena district and opted for the denim outfit there, it just really fit the vibe.

I'm so happy you and your parents love your images Jacob! You were fun and super easy to work with!! (and that makes my job a whole lotta fun!)

Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
Not having to decide the exact locations of the photos and the exact poses because I would've never been able to decide.
I know most guys are less than excited about a photo shoot? How were you feeling going into this? How did you feel after? Was it better than you thought?
At the beginning, I felt that this was going to be very boring and uninteresting. By the end, it was not boring and actually caused me to start regularly dressing better. So yes, it was better than I thought.
What was most important for you to get out of your shoot?
Good pictures for myself to remember later on.
Tell me about your style! What inspired your outfit selections?
We used some of your recommendations and also some websites for inspiration. We went to various stores and picked out outfits there. Then we narrowed down our options to our final three outfits which we used in the photoshoot.
What was your all time favorite photo?
The one where I am squatting in the center of the road.
Would your parent like to add any comments about your session day?
The photoshoot was a lot of fun and we will definitely do it with our next son too.
What drew you to Claudine Kosier Photography?
We saw friends of ours that had pictures done from you.
What are your future plans for after high school?
Going to a university in Ohio (haven't decided yet) and studying marketing and data analytics.
Have you picked a college yet? Where are you headed?
Not yet. I have applied to Ohio, Cincinnati, Xavier, Dayton, Miami, and OSU.
