Not "a little uncomfortable" hard. Like actually hard. They're navigating a body that feels unfamiliar, a social world that shifts constantly, and a feed full of images showing them exactly how they don't measure up. They're comparing themselves to filtered, edited, carefully curated versions of other people and coming up short every single time.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, they stop liking what they see.
They scroll past their own photos. They untag themselves. They pick apart every image looking for everything wrong. And slowly, quietly, they start believing that the version of them that shows up in real life just isn't enough, when the truth is, nobody has ever really shown them who they actually are.
That's what The Confidence Project is here to change.
I'm currently photographing some really amazing Central Ohio tweens for The Confidence Project, and I'd love for yours to be next!
At the completion of the project, your tween's story and artwork will be part of something so much bigger.
Something worth showing up for.
As one of my featured Tweens, you'll receive:

Participation in The Confidence Project is only $790 while spots remain.

My superpower is helping your kid see themselves differently.
I'm Claudine, a Gen-X photographer and the person in the room who is completely, unapologetically in your tween's corner from the minute they walk in.
I've spent years photographing seniors, and I kept noticing the same thing: by the time they get to senior year, they've already spent years feeling awkward on camera. Years of avoided photos. Years of "I hate how I look." I wanted to catch them before all of that hardens into a belief about who they are.
I'm not here to make your tween look like anyone other than themselves. I'm here to capture the humor, the personality, the spark and hand it back to them in a frame, so they can finally see what everyone else already sees.
