Stunner! I mean really Karissa! I was so excited to shoot with Karissa from the first moment I spoke with her mom. Her mom was so passionate and excited about creating beautiful images of her girl and Karissa, being a sports girl, was super excited to get dressed up with a full beautiful makeover with Tatum.

I love when my seniors are excited for this experience and it's such a boost of confidence to see the end result. She had a gorgeous fall day in Highbanks, one of my favorite spots for shoots. Her outfits were adorable, girly and just looked perfect on her. Alter'd State for the win and they assisted her so much on choosing her final outfits.

I love that I see so much transition from start to finish in this session. I see the young girl and the upcoming adult. I think we captured so many sides to Karissa and she had a great day feeling beautiful. They have beautiful images of her to remember such a special time and pivotal moment in her lifetime.

Tell me about your Senior Session Day! What was the best part?
It was great! Walking around and taking in all the scenery on such a nice day felt refreshing for me. And it ended with great results for the final photos! My favorite part was when I was coming out of the creek near the end and Claudine told me to hold the pose I was in, and took one of my most favorite photos in the entire portfolio.
What was your biggest fear for your session? Do you feel differently now that the session is done?
I was honestly really worried my outfits wouldn't look great, or my facial expressions would look off. I definitely think I was worrying a little too much about it, and everything was just in my head.
Did you feel comfortable and confident during your session? What do you think attributed to that the most?
I started off a little nervous, but as we kept on, I felt much more confident in what I was doing. I think Claudine's compliments and friendly chats helped me feel more comfortable and good about myself.
What kind of look were you going for in your Session?
I honestly didn't really have a look I wanted, just that I was happy and having fun.
What made you choose CKP for your Senior Session?
I had a friend last year who took photos through her, and I thought they looked amazing. We reached out right away when it was my time.

I think that, after seeing all my photos, I've become a more confident and better version of myself. Now that I've seen myself as how other people see me, I feel more comfortable.
What is the best advice you've ever received?
Live life to the fullest. You may not realize it, but your years fly by so fast, you could miss out on a lot.

Claudine is an amazing photographer and did a great job at capturing excellent pictures!
